“The research and study of the scores Trust the Wind and Ü by Luiza Schulz Vazquez are random based on mechanisms, signs and directions of the wind. They instruct memory and improvisation, through graphical and tonal notation, based on notions of time: planning and determinism, as opposed to chance, non-determinism and relative time. Interpreted sonorously by Laranjeira’s Camerata String Quintet and visually by Celina Kuschnir, the scores reflect on climate change in the context of global warming.”
